Vienna

Imperial sophistication

1 Jan to 01 Jan

In the heart of Europe and along the banks of the Danube, shines Vienna, a sophisticated and elegant city. Even today you can see the heritage of the Habsburg Empire in their palaces, cafes and in the famous waltzes and operas.

It is known as the World Music Capital because it has engraved in it the history of influential songwriters such as Mozart, Beethoven or the king of waltz, Johann Strauss. In winter, a blanket of snow covers the city, giving it an aura of beauty and charm. In the warmer months, the parks, terraces and elegant boulevards are filled with people. The palaces are worth to visit, where we highlight the Hofburg with over 600 years of history, numerous museums, the National Library and where you can admire the Imperial Treasury. The huge palace and gardens of Schönbrunn are comparable to Versailles. Also visit the Belvedere Palace and do not miss the magnificent and sophisticated Opera House, ultimate symbol of Vienna's arts.

St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Church of St. Charles Borromeo will not leave you indifferent as well as a tour in the Ringstrass Avenue and its sumptuous squares. The cultural wealth is immense with several museums of interest. Be sure to visit the Museum Quarter, a space with many museums, restaurants and terraces, and the Mozart House, great influence in the Austrian musical culture. Have fun in the Prater amusement park and be sure to attend the many known Viennese cafes. If you get a chance, take a cruise on the beautiful river Danube.
